- How does AI trip planning work?
- For leisure trips, enter a destination and travel dates. Goyondo's AI generates a full day-by-day itinerary with activities and dining in under 30 seconds. You can edit any part of the plan or ask the AI to refine it.
- Can I plan business trips with Goyondo?
- Yes. Goyondo is built for leisure trips first, and business trips work the same way: create a trip with destinations and dates, invite colleagues, and use Guide view for traffic-aware drive times between stops. Confirmation import is coming soon.
- Is Goyondo free to use?
- The free plan includes 3 trips, with the option to earn bonus slots by sharing. Pro ($9.99/month) gives you unlimited trips. Creating any API key expands the free allowance to 10 trips; that allowance stays even if the key later expires or is revoked.
- What makes Goyondo different from Google Trips or TripAdvisor?
- Goyondo is a trip planner your own AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, can plan and edit. Trips persist in Goyondo instead of disappearing in a chat, so you and your group can keep editing them, and you get a ready-to-use day-by-day schedule rather than a list of reviews.
- Can I plan group or team trips?
- Yes. You can invite colleagues, friends, or family members to a trip, assign roles (viewer or editor), and keep everyone on a shared itinerary. Group Harmony mode helps align preferences across multiple travellers.
- Does Goyondo work with AI agents like Claude or ChatGPT?
- Yes, with assistants that can run Goyondo's MCP server (npx -y goyondo-mcp): the Claude desktop app, Claude Code, Cursor and OpenAI's Codex, plus any agent that calls the API directly. The ChatGPT app, claude.ai and the mobile apps cannot connect directly yet. Agents sign in with POST /api/agent-auth/device (see /agent-quickstart.md) and show you a link to approve.
