How it works

  1. Plan. An assistant drafts the trip: destination, dates, days and activities.
  2. Save. The draft is written to a trip record with real days and activities, not stored as text in a conversation.
  3. Edit. You or your assistant change the trip later, and each change is logged with who made it.
  4. Share. You invite your group as viewers or editors, so everyone works from the same plan.

How Goyondo implements it

In Goyondo, your assistant calls create_trip and add_activity, later edits go through tools such as update_activity, and get_edit_log shows who changed what, human or agent. This is the call an assistant makes to add an activity:

Frequently asked questions

Isn't a ChatGPT or Claude conversation already saved?
The conversation is saved, but the itinerary is only text inside it. To change one day you have to ask again, and your group cannot edit it. A saved trip has days and activities you can change one at a time.
Which assistants can save trips to Goyondo?
The Claude desktop app, Claude Code, Cursor and OpenAI's Codex connect through the goyondo-mcp server and a one-link sign-in. The ChatGPT app, claude.ai and the mobile apps cannot connect directly yet.
Do I need to pay?
No. Goyondo is free to start and in open beta. The free plan includes 3 trips, creating an API key raises that to 10, and Pro adds unlimited trips.
